We created this character together with the Upsala-Circus team for World Down Syndrome Day, celebrated on March 21, as a reminder: no one should be excluded for being different. There’s nothing “extra” in people — we all have something to learn from one another.

Upsala-Circus is a social and cultural project offering free training to teenagers from at-risk groups and those with special needs. Through circus, they discover their talents, rewrite their life stories, and learn to succeed. After each performance, something shifts — not only in the lives of the artists but also in the hearts of those who come to see their work.
Through its projects, Upsala-Circus shows that inclusion is the only possible norm in today’s society.
